PM with winning card design

I was delighted to receive so many entries to my 2022 Christmas Card Design Competition.  I had dozens of students submit their pictures; it was a fantastic competition.

Two local judges, Karen Cannard, zero waste researcher, writer and media consultant & Michelle Freeman of The Crafty Foxes came to my office to choose the winner and the two runners up.  All the drawings were so good that the judges also asked that another two students were given a special mention.

I was delighted to meet with the Prime Minister and show him the winning entry for my competition request for a card highlighting how to “Have a Green Christmas”.

Huge congratulations to Holly for winning the competition this year with her excellent green message and design, to runners up Jorgie and Max and to Daisy and Nieve for their special mentions.  I wish everyone a happy and environmentally friendly Christmas.
