It is an honour to have been appointed Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Department of Health and Social Care.

My new role comes with a great deal of responsibility. The NHS is a service we all rely on and is undoubtedly one of our country’s greatest achievements.

There are exciting times ahead for the NHS as we look to advance our health prevention agenda, improve patient care and embrace new technologies.

I am looking forward to working with the Secretary of State and the rest of the team to deliver a first class NHS.
