Bury St Edmunds MP Jo Churchill has been appointed as Parliamentary Private Secretary (PPS) to the Department of Health, having been re-elected to Parliament in June 2017. Mrs Churchill has been appointed as PPS to The Rt. Honourable Jeremy Hunt MP, Secretary of State for Health.

Commenting on her new role, Jo said:

“It is a huge honour to be appointed to this position and I am very much looking forward to working with Jeremy and the whole team at the Department of Health.

Serving the health and care needs of everyone across England and Wales is vitally important and it is an absolute priority of this Government.  I am looking forward to the forthcoming opportunity to serve the interests of the British public as a Parliamentary Private Secretary, as well as continuing to work hard in the interest of my Bury St Edmunds constituency.”
