On Friday 25 September at 2.30pm, Jo Churchill MP opened the refurbished Herga Electric factory in Bury St Edmunds.
Mrs Churchill said: “Margaret Thatcher had a memorable visit to Herga Electric during her election campaign in Northampton. With manufacturing excellence and growth, this company is demonstrating what a fantastic place to do business my Bury St Edmunds constituency is.
A major refurbishment of the factory at Herga Electric’s operation in Bury St Edmunds has recently taken place, to complement the restructuring of the company’s engineering department.
These steps reflect a significant investment and I am delighted to officially open the factory for business.”
