Our markets are one of the many things we should be very proud of locally. The Bury St Edmunds market is a signficant part of the local economy, driving people into the town centre. Jo met some great people and was able to persuade a friend that buying locally sourced produce was the way forward. Fresh, local and, without having travelled long distances, low food mileage as well – not to mention good value for money.
