On Wednesday 9th September, Jo Churchill MP took part in Breast Cancer Now’s “Wear it Pink” campaign. The campaign asks supporters to wear an item of pink clothing and donate towards breast cancer research.

Mrs Churchill said: “The Wear it Pink campaign beings on 23rd October. This is a fantastic opportunity to show your support for breast cancer research in the UK and I ask everybody to get involved, put on their favourite pink clothing and donate to this fantastic cause.

The more we research breast cancer, the more we can prevent it, detect it earlier and treat it effectively at every stage. As a Breast Cancer Ambassador for Bury St Edmunds, I ask everybody to wear it pink.”

Yet, my experience with cancer allowed me to see first hand, not only why the NHS is the greatest healthcare system in the world, but, what more we is required drive forward patient outcomes.
