It was fantastic to take part in the tree planting ceremony to mark the next milestone of the creation of Abbeygate Sixth Form College.
To have such a state-of-the-art facility locally by 2020, ensuring young people from across our growing community have the best opportunities to further themselves and reach their potential is marvellous.
Students having access to a broad curriculum is vital due to the increasing technological change we are seeing and to prepare them for successful future careers. With the new STEM centre over the road and West Suffolk College next door, we are seeing an educational hub developing in the heart of our town.
