At Conservative Party Conference I met with representatives from Greater Anglia to discuss improvements to capacity, such as an additional hourly morning and evening route and how we can work together to collect the views of rail users in our local area.
I am looking forward to progressing these ideas, as well as working with members of the visually impaired community to give them a better voice in what they need from Greater Anglia regarding ticket offices and our rail network.
We also discussed when work on the lifts at Stowmarket station will finally begin - Greater Anglia have promised to write to me with an accurate update for 2024 delivery and I look forward to sharing this with constituents’
