Thanks to the East of England Ambulance Service for the warm welcome and tour of the new ambulance station site in Bury. I was pleased to see the progress that has been made and the £10 million investment in our local ambulance service which will enable an improved services, better flow of vehicles and new vehicles for our area. The new station will also provide better facilities for all those who work so hard day in, day out to respond to emergency calls.

During my visit we also discussed how the ambulance service works with Suffolk Accident and Rescue Service. I’m looking forward to following progress and to visiting again soon!
