The first two buffer trees planted at the site of the new West Suffolk Hospital is a landmark moment - the project is coming to life! Conversations turn into action, and the £12.6 million forward spend is helping to spearhead the project.

I speak weekly to the project manager and receive regular updates on its progress. Its development is and will continue to be my number one priority as your local MP.

This will be a transformative project, and one which residents of Bury St Edmunds and our surrounding local communities can look forward to.

I informed the Prime Minister recently of my decision to stand down at the next election. It has been a privilege & honour to serve the people of Bury St Edmunds & Stowmarket. I wish my successor all the best in representing this most wonderful part of our United Kingdom.
