Jo Churchill MP air ambulance event in parliament

It was a great pleasure to meet Patrick Peal, Chief Executive Officer of the East Anglian Air Ambulance, as well as  Daryl Brown and Dr Simon Lewis from MAGPAS Air Ambulance to discuss future developments for a permanent helipad at Addenbrooke’s Hospital to ensure the critically ill and injured can reach expert medical care quickly.

Air Ambulances, by their very nature, respond to the most serious incidents. Improving the infrastructure at Addenbrooke’s Hospital will ensure there are no delays in people receiving the life saving care they need, once the Air Ambulance has arrived. We all hope we will never need these services, but like everyone I am really grateful for their dedication and skills.
