vACCINE

As of 25/01/2021 The figure for over 80s receiving a COVID vaccination in Suffolk stands at 67%.

The rollout of the COVID vaccine is to be accelerated over the coming weeks, with 40,000 doses having been recently delivered. As a result the NHS locally were able to vaccinate thousands of people over the weekend.

In addition to this we have now vaccinated all care home residents within the guidance provided. This is on target & on time.

This is a huge logistical operation in an area with a large older population. I would like to thank all those involved locally for their hard work in rolling out the vaccine across Suffolk.
