Tackling antisocial behaviour

I was pleased to spend time with local Police Inspector Andy in Bury St Edmunds where we discussed antisocial behaviour and shoplifting. Changes to policing including a higher visibility of police in the centre of town is welcome, and many constituents have said that this is what is needed.

A14 Resurfacing Update

Last week I visited the A14 roadworks by Woolpit to see firsthand progress of the resurfacing works. The project starts from J47A and extends East for 3.5km towards J49.

The Bury St Edmunds Jobcentre was packed today for their Older Workers Jobs Fair! They've had a successful week supporting older workers, offering advice on topics like digital skills and money management. There's something for everyone here. 

Update meeting with British Sugar

This week I met with British Sugar MD Keith Packer for an update on their work in Bury St Edmunds and beyond. We discussed challenges and opportunities and I was impressed to hear their commitment to decarbonisation, with a £5m investment.
