On August 20th 2015, Jo Churchill MP visited the Green Light Trust. The charity aims to educate and promote conservation, protection and improvement of the natural and physical environment and has a particular emphasis on helping students and those who are disadvantaged or marginalised.
On August 19th 2015, Jo Churchill MP visited a dedicated high welfare British Quality Pigs (BQP) outdoor sow breeding farm. This was followed by a tour of Dalehead’s Food’s processing plant in Bury St Edmunds. BQP supplies Dalehead with pork for a range of products for its client, Waitrose.
On 18th August 2015, Jo Churchill MP wrote to Secretary of State for Justice, Rt Hon Michael Gove MP about the proposed closure of the Magistrates’ Court in Bury St Edmunds.
